FAQs

  • We explore the hidden self through dark, macabre storytelling that challenges and enchants. Our mission is to reveal the mysteries, fears, and desires that lurk beneath the surface, offering audiences a chance to confront and appreciate these dark tales from diverse cultural perspectives.

  • We’re currently in the planning stages, preparing to bring our first eerie performance to life. Stay tuned for announcements and follow us on social media for the latest updates on our debut season!

  • No, we do not perform shadow casting (acting in front of a movie screen while a film plays). Our focus is on original, live performances that explore dark, thought-provoking narratives through theatre. We do, however, play with shadow and light, which may involve the use of projected images—just not cinema re-enactments.

  • We are not a haunted house or jump-scare attraction. While our stories often explore dark and eerie themes, our goal is to engage audiences through the power of live theatre, not by scaring them with traditional haunted house tactics.

  • While our focus is on dark and macabre storytelling, we don't limit ourselves strictly to horror. We explore a range of genres that dive into the shadowed corners of the human experience, including suspense, dark humor, and psychological drama.

  • Our performances often contain mature themes, including dark psychological elements, which may not be suitable for young children. We recommend checking the content advisories for each show to determine if it’s appropriate for your audience.

  • Once our first season is announced, you’ll be able to purchase tickets through our website or partner platforms.

Masters of the Macabre (recurring donors) will get early access to tickets before they go on sale to the public!

  • Audition announcements will be posted on our website and social media once our debut season is announced! We welcome actors of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, especially those drawn to dark, eerie, and thought-provoking storytelling. Sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media to stay updated on upcoming audition opportunities!

  • We are based in North Texas. Our performances will take place at venues around the DFW Metroplex as we get started, creating immersive experiences in various settings. We’re also planning for our own venue in the future!
